With Emily & Anna
June 16 - June 18
in Goshen Indiana

Celebrate the solstice with a weekend of relaxation, 2 hours from Chicago, on a mini horse farm.
The quiet, Amish town provides a calming, secluded retreat and a chance to unplug and unwind.
Replenish your energy with four yoga practices and six nourishing, vegetarian meals
(vegan, gluten-free & allergy friendly options are available).
Connecting with yourself, likeminded individuals, and therapy animals might be just what you need this season!

has 6 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, pool, hot tub, and a special space for yoga practices. If weather allows, we may even practice outside. You can fully enjoy being our guest in this unique, healing place.

Sample Schedule (Eastern Time)

  • Friday: rolling check-in & dinner from 5-7p, guests should plan to arrive no later than 6p

followed by an evening yoga practice

  • Saturday: breakfast bar

followed by a late-morning yoga practice, brunch,

free time, group dinner

and an evening yoga practice

  • Sunday: breakfast bar followed by a morning yoga practice, brunch, free time, rolling check out 1p-5p

*free time might include relaxing and enjoying the house, pool and hot tub, U-pick outings to local farms, spending time with the horses or booking a horse therapy session with Meadow Brook's owner Kori, floral crafts, and other grounding activities.

We will also have an experienced massage therapist, Valerie Penrose on site with appointments available throughout the weekend!

Learn more about Valerie in our "About" section.

Retreat Price = $100 Down Payment + Room fee
Each person attending will first pay $100 to reserve your spot and cover your cost of food and other house supplies.
After registration, Emily will reach out to communicate room arrangements,
but you may also reach out with room requests prior to registration.
Room fees are in addition to the down payment and will be paid ideally through Venmo @verdantplace.
Payment plans are available.
Your full retreat payment covers the amenities, yoga and meals.
Transportation is not included, though we will help coordinate carpools.
Massage and Equine Therapy are additional payments, paid to Valerie or Kori and are completely optional.
We are also offering a “Helper” discount for anyone that would like to be Anna’s “sous chef” for the weekend and help with kitchen clean up and other small tasks.

$1200 for one person
or split the cost with a friend, partner or family member and share the bed for $600 each

We ask that all retreat participants avoid crowded, unmasked environments in the few days leading up to the retreat and and if you do test positive for covid before the retreat, you are responsible for filling your spot as we cannot guarantee a last minute refund.
Please let us know ASAP if you can no longer come, because we will help as much as possible to fill the spot. We will spend plenty of time outside as weather allows and socially distance inside the house as much as possible.
Masks are not required inside.
We ask that you come with an open mind and kind heart. Participating in the weekend as a compassionate observer and listener, free from judgement of yourself and others, will guarantee a positive experience for all.
You do not need to have any specific yoga or meditation experience to attend and variations of the practices will be given, with accessibility always in mind. Beginners are welcome and encouraged!
